All of our Reproductions are accurate copies of the original works of art Hand-drawn and Hand-painted on the very best Belgian Canvas by our group of secured Master Painters and talented Artists.

Why are Kings Galleries Reproductions better than any other Reproduction?

Many of the Artists retained by us are specialist Painters that have made a life times study of their chosen subject, often travelling all over the world visiting Museums and Galleries to sketch and absorb the style and textural feel of the original paintings.

We insist that our Artists only use the very best materials for their Paintings, the best Canvas and English Oil Paints with some of our Painters going to the extreme for detail by mixing their own Pigments and Colour Compounds in order to achieve authenticity of colour and texture.

No Mechanical processes are utilised by our Artists, sketches are done by hand in Charcoal and paint applied totally by hand on primed canvas .

How close Are Kings Galleries Reproductions to the Original?

No one can copy 100% any painting, it is impossible!

Kings Galleries aim is to produce paintings that are accurate to the degree that the difference between our Reproduction and the Original is only visible on very close inspection.

Our aim is not to mislead anyone into believing that our Paintings are Originals, that would be fraud but to reproduce a Painting that shines with the Essence and Majesty of the Original that will bring Beauty and Kudos to any room that displays it.

Are Kings Galleries Reproductions legal?

Yes absolutely!

As we stated we are not trying to pass our Paintings off as Originals and we only reproduce the works of Artists who's works have passed out of copyright and into the public domain.

Copyright Laws differ slightly from Country to Country but as a general rule if an Artist has been deceased for more than Seventy Years then we are legally entitled to copy his paintings and you are entitled to benefit from them.

You may be asking yourself if this is morally or intellectually correct, after all the owners of the Original Paintings probably paid Millions for them.

Our answer is very simple.

Any Artist wants as many appreciative viewers to see his work as possible.

Great works of art should not be locked up for the benefit of the few, they should be available to anyone that appreciates and loves them and is prepaid to pay a reasonable price to have them in their Homes.

Reproductions do not subtract from the value of the Original they increase its value by adding to its popularity and appreciation by the many.

Finally we would state this as an redoubtable fact "It is far better to have a good Reproduction on your wall and show your appreciation of Fine Art than to have a bad Original and allude to your ignorance of the matter".

Why is there no "Modern art" on the Kings Galleries site?

Mainly for the reason stated regarding Copyright but it is our intention to dedicate a completely separate site to be called Kings Modern in the near future.

Do Kings Galleries only produce the paintings shown on this site?

No, if you don't see the Painting you are looking for then contact us and provide us with a good reference source and providing that Painting is out of copyright then we will paint it for you and we currently have over Four and a Half Million Images to choose from.

Do Kings Galleries use the Escrow services?

We strongly recommend the use of one of our Escrow services, it is very easy to set up, security is state of art and the "See before you pay" feature is your Guarantee of peace of mind.

How long will it take for Kings Galleries to process my order?

Once you have placed an order with us it will be ready for dispatch in four to five weeks depending on its size and complication this is a maximum time and may depending on the Artists schedule be completed for you earlier.

Kings Galleries is in England and I am in the States is this going to be a problem?

This is not a problem, over 80% of our customers are in the USA, communication is not a problem and we use an International Carrier to get your paintings to you.

Please be aware that you will be responsible for any Import Duties or State Taxes that may apply and the prices we quote are inclusive of taxes within the European Union.
